What Transcription Sites Am I Testing?

When I was researching ways to earn some extra income from home, the same few ideas kept popping up in the articles I was reading. One in particular caught my eye, but I really didn't know what it meant - transcription. What the heck is transcription? It's just taking an audio or video file and writing what you hear as accurately as possible. I was curious, and since I've been typing most of my life and spent a lot of time in school taking notes while teachers and professors spoke, I thought it might be a good fit for me.

There are two main ways to do transcription work: through your own website or a job site like Fiverr, or through a transcription-specific website that does the work of finding clients for you. If you're brand new to transcription, it's best to go for a website that you can give it a try on to see if it's something you're comfortable with. There are a number of these sites, but once again, being Canadian means not all of them are available to me.

Currently, I'm testing four sites:

Each has a skills test you must pass to be allowed to work, so for a proper investigation of whether the site is worthwhile, I'll need to pass that and then move on to actual work, so it may take some time before I'm prepared to give a full review, but each site will get its own review.

I will also touch on finding your own jobs and clients via Fiverr and your own marketing in the future, as that's an avenue I would also like to pursue for long-term income generation. If you have any tips or information that would be helpful, please share in the comments below!
