When you're looking for ways to earn money from home, filling out surveys often comes up as the first activity to consider. It's easy and requires nothing more than an internet connection and a computer, phone, or tablet. You won't get rich, or replace a full-time income, but it can definitely bring in a few extra bucks if you're consistent.
I previously mentioned the sites I'm testing out, and today we're going to start reviewing them so you'll know which are worth your time, and which aren't. As well, keep in mind as a Canadian, my experience might be slightly different than yours if you're from a different country.
I'm going to start off with a site I've actually used for a number of years, though never as seriously as I am now: Swagbucks. Swagbucks offers you the chance to collect points that you can redeem for gift cards to a ton of places, even for Canadians. The most important for me is that they offer the opportunity to redeem for Paypal gift cards, meaning you can convert your points into actual money - which is what you're really after if you want to earn money from home.
Swagbucks is often one of the first sites mentioned when you're looking into ways to work from home, and for good reason: they offer a HUGE number of ways to earn points. Given that I'm talking about survey sites, that's my preferred way to earn, but they also give points for watching videos, searching the internet, shopping online, and completing offers. The offers can be a great source of quick points, as many are quite quick, such as installing an app and opening it up or playing fun mobile games for a few minutes. They also have games you can play to earn extra points for doing what you would be anyway, and giveaways you can enter with a few points for the chance to win more points or gift cards. Finally, if you follow their social media, they often post codes that you can quickly copy and paste to earn a few extra points.
The only issue I've run into is that once I did a day or two of surveys, I ended up with only a few to attempt each day, and usually only get 2 or 3 that I'm eligible for. This is most likely because I belong to the most populous demographic on survey sites because my husband also uses the site and rarely has this problem. It can also take a few days to complete a payout to Paypal, though it seems quicker if you opt for other gift cards. But both my husband and I have done several payouts from them, and have never had an issue.
Overall, I am very pleased with Swagbucks as a survey site to earn extra money from home. It won't make you rich, but you can easily earn gift cards that will add up over time. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
