Before diving into the nitty-gritty, I thought it would be a good idea to go over my plan, so you guys will know what to expect.
My main focus is on finding the websites & companies that offer the best balance between time spent and the rewards earned. This table is how I'll record the first step in my plan - how long from joining the site did it take me to reach my first payout.
A quick note here: Swagbucks isn't on this list, because I've had an account for years (but was never serious about it.) My Points is on this one, though I also had an account here, but it was at 0 points.
As I reach payout I'll update this chart for you guys, so you know which sites are the most rewarding (and which to avoid!) I'll also be doing monthly logs, to see how much I make month-to-month. Figuring out which sites are only worthwhile for the first payout is important, so if it becomes too difficult to reach payout once the initial joining bonuses are used, you need to know.
I've also split them up by site type, just to make it easier to read. Plus transcription and similar work tend to be invite based (once you pass skill tests) so separating them makes sense so it's easier to see which ones I'm active on and which ones I'm still waiting for approval.
One final note - in addition to this, I do have an Etsy shop where I sell digital patterns. I won't be including any of that in this, however, I will likely post occasionally with tips & info for other creatives, so don't worry if you're not as interested in the typing & surveys. And if you have ANY other types of work you recommend, don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to check them out!
